Part 2 Of 2 – Top WordPress Plugins For Internet Marketers

Were you able to read Part 1 of the Top WordPress Plugins for Internet Marketers?

Did you make any sense of it all?

Is it possible that you already had each plugin already working on your WordPress blog? I decided to write that article (as well as this one) reviewing only the same plugins that I use on my own WordPress blog.

If you need a refresher, the link to Part 1 of the Top WordPress Plugins for Internet Marketers is at the end of this article.

To keep you waiting no longer, here is my list of the Top WordPress Plugins for Internet Marketers – Part 2 of 2.

Onlywire For WordPress -This is one of the plugins that I think you absolutely NEED to have working on your WordPress blog. After you upload the Onlywire plugin to your blog, it will instantaneously add your post to the different social bookmarking sites that you select. All that you need to do is make sure that the little check box under your blog post is marked before you hit “submit” in your WordPress backoffice.

Sociable – The Sociable Plugin is another social bookmarking gadget to have so that your readers will be able to share your posts with the rest of the world. It works a lot like Onlywire, except that each “bookmark” you make is done individually instead of all at once.

TweetMeme Retweet Button – The TweetMeme plugin allows you to easily use the TweetMeMe button in your WordPress blog posts so that you can automatically Tweet your blog post after you post it.

WP Super Cache – WP Super Cache is a caching plugin for WordPress. The way that it works is that it generates html files that are placed on a server without processing comparatively heavy PHP scripts.

If you are experiencing a slow load time, by using this plugin you will speed up your WordPress blog significantly.

WP Greet Box – This is one cool gadget to your blog. Ha! I love this one.

This plugin will show a different greeting message to your new visitors depending on where they came from.

For example, when a Digg user clicks through from Digg, they will see a message reminding them to Digg your post. Or if they come from Twitter, they will see a message suggesting them to “Tweet” the post and follow you on Twitter.

You can also set a default greeting message for new visitors asking them to subscribe to your RSS feed.

And I just learned this after reading about the WP Super cache, but this plugin and WP Super Cache are compatible so you don’t have to sacrifice any site loading speed.

Akismet – If there were just ONE anti-spam plugin for you to use, this would be the one. Download it. Period. You will see your spam traffic decrease dramatically.

Tie it together with Simple Trackback Validation plugin below, and you’re golden! Stats – This is one of the first plugins I downloaded onto my blog – so we go back a long time. Oh, the memories…

Enabling WordPress stats to your blog will essentially be like it would if you were adding Akismet. You will need the same API key, so don’t lose it.

After you enable the WordPress stats, it will start crunching the data and begin telling you where your traffic is coming from and going to within a few minutes to an hour.

WordPress stats will also display all of your traffic information on just one page, as well as at the bottom of your dashboard page – but in a scaled down version.

Simple Trackback Validation – this plugin will check all of your incoming comments for spam links.

When a trackback is received, this plugin checks if the IP address of the sender is equal to the IP address of the webserver the link is referring back to. This will identify almost every spam link that spammers use with bots. Used in conjunction with Akismet, your blog should be near 100% spam free.

So there it is, all of my Top WordPress plugins for internet marketers.

The Best Free WordPress Plugins Part II

I\’m no internet expert, but I do own a whole load of blogs all run by WordPress. They are on a wide variety of topics from Gordon Ramsay and Polar Bears, right through to internet tricks and tips as well as Exercise science and nutrition. Here\’s Part two of a three part series on which are the best free wordpress plugins, all courtesy of an amazing free tool by internet marketing legend Jeff Johnson.

As I\’ve stated previously, the best part of this program is that you get a direct, automated link to the top wordpress plugins, installing each one in one simple click, whoch save hours uploading files via FTP servers.

The next step is to simply choose the keywords that your blog wants rank for in the search engines and enter them. Finally, after installation and entering your key phrases, you press one button and the settings are optimised. It really is that simple,

Did I mention that this simple yet extremely effective plugin was FREE. Just click on the link at the end of this article and get access to this amazing tool completely free!

Here is five more plugins that Jeff Johnson toll uses, along with an explanation of what they do;

Robots Meta is a simple tool that will modify your robots.txt meta tag. It allows you to control which pages and posts the search robots should index, and which page, posts and links search engine robots should ignore. Helps with security and pagerank.

Akismet is standard with WordPress blogs but is extremely effective in protecting your blog from spammers who manipulate your site via comments. Monitor and protect your blog from comment spam.

Database Backup is worth a million dollars if it saves you once, and it will automatically make database backups of your blog and send them to your email. Protect the content on your site from possible server loss by backing up the content on your site on a regular basis.

Simple CAPTCHA is an amazing free tool that you are probably familiar with. It places an images with random text that the user must manually type to submit their blog comment. This utility verifies the commenter is human, cutting down the potential for comment spam.

Similar Posts – will link to other posts related to the current posts. Not only does this benefit your SEO strategy, but it also entices your users to read other posts on your blog, increasing pageviews and traffic.

Don\’t forget, just because you are getting the lists of plugins, the big trick is optimising them to give your blog the best chance of ranking with all of the search engines, especially google. The Best Free WordPress Plugins Part I

I have a bunch of wordpress blogs on the internet on a variety of topics from exercise science and nutrition, polar bears as well as Gordon Ramsay. I have all of these blogs run by WordPress and have a FREE Plugin management tool by internet marketing guru Jeff Johnson.

As part of this program you get a link to all of the top wordpress plugins, which install with one simple click (no searching and jumping between websites uploading and all of that mucking around). Then you just pick a bunch of keywords that your blog wants to be optimised for in google and enter them. The next step but best of all after installing all of them, you press one button and the settings are optimised. Simple,

Did I say that this plugin was FREE. Follow the link at the end of this article to be taken to page to get this amazing tool completely free!

Here is a list of some of the plugins that this amazing tool uses, along with a description of what each plug-in does!

All-In-One-SEO Pack – This amazing plugin sets up your blog\’s title tags and metatags to include keywords and descriptions. Different title tags place keywords in the title tags and custom meta tags for each blog post, creating more unique content for search engines.

Google Sitemap Generator – generates a sitemap for search engines to pick up. Search engines give priority to sites with optimized sitemaps.

Auto Tagger – Here is another plugin this awesome tool uses. It works with Yahoo! to determine keywords related to the content of the article. These keywords are then added as tags to your blog and show up on your posts meta keywords. It\’s always best to create your own tags in WP when writing a post, but just in case you forget this plugin will create them for you.

Sociable – Another incredible plugin that adds links to the bottom of every article allowing your users to share your articles with popular social networks such as Digg, Technorati, and Twitter. This helps people find your site when they are searching popular social networking sites and hopefully brings them back to your blog for more.

Ping Optimizer – I don;t even understand what pingin really is, so any tool that autonates the process is a load off my mind! This one notifies blog servers that your blog has recently pulished new content. It shares your content across other networks, increasing your blog\’s exposure, but excessively pinging these servers can get your site banned or blocked from future blog pinging. So you have to make sure that you are pinging these servers when necessary. This plugin will handle when and when not to ping these blog servers, optimizing how often you ping.

This is Part I of a three part series.

Popular Posts – is another means of deep linking and enticing your users to read popular content on your blog, again, increasing pageviews and traffic.

This is a great way to build traffic to your site by having more pages indexed highly for long tail keywords.

Cross Linker – will automatically create links for different keywords phrases. The keyword will be automatically converted in to a link that points to any page or post you choose.

Permalink Migrator – this simple plugin grabs the slug from the end of the request and checks if there\’s a post with this slug living somewhere else on your blog. If not, I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to a plugin that has become a must have on my blog! Social media integration is a must these days and few things are more annoying than trying to get countless little share button plugins to all behave at the same time. It seems no matter what you do with the suckers at least one of them always has to have a mind of its own. Fortunately for us, there’s Digg Digg, a WordPress plugin which integrates nineteen and counting possible social media share buttons. It makes them all easy to lay out, lots of flexibility and the best part is they tend to actually go where you tell them to! (Novel idea right?) PS: You can find my Top 10 list at:
